Held off on this game for ages because I thought it was just another 'gatcha' money grab.

However feel like I got in at the best time. The game is currently in "2.0" version and I believe a lot of things such as ranked and levels have been reworked (for the better).

Not p2w at all from what I can tell, I've been told by more experienced players on the discord there are no pay walls either, everything is accessible through grinding (and not a ridiculous amount either).

Game play is super fun, art style is nice. All the characters have their own lore in the universe, devs do web comics and world building on their website.

Couldn't recommend this game enough atm.

Very f2p friendly (surprisingly)

tl;dr

Pros:
-Customization
-Cut scenes from every past Tekken game
-Beautiful graphics even at lower settings
-Music
-Detail put into maps

Cons:
-Not as much offline content than in the past installments
-Grinding to get some costume pieces
-Story modes of side characters not being fully fleshed out (as well as arcade mode)

Does need a few tweaks, I personally want more ways to choose a thumbnail for my skins but overall I give it a solid 9/10 on release.
