I would recommend this game to others that are experienced in the F2P genre and understand the term Early Access.

Does the game have the standard F2P issues: Yes. Aimbots, hacks, people raging in chat, debate over pay to win ... all the F2P standards. Realistic, these are minor issues that you will encounter briefly from time to time in the lower levels. Level 5 and above is where the gameplay really starts to shine. Not many one shot kills when the enemy has good armor.

Early Access ... Yeah, there are bugs and the devs are tweaking things to balance the game. This process is called iteration and will bubble up what is right and what is wrong equally. There are a few issues that may grind on you at first. Those are being worked out examples: inconsistent balancing for a battle, tiers vs. weapon levels, etc.

The product manager for the game has not gotten the right mix of the elements to purchase to generate revenue vs opening themselves up to critics with the old pay to win complaint. The recent update brought a robo store to purchase pre built vehicles at several different tiers. This let people skip the grid and jump to a higher tier ... some people were taken aback by this. But the real effect was null when it came to the battles. Sure someone had a sweet pre built vehicle that looked great but they jumped tiers too quickly without understanding the gameplay changes the higher in the ladder you go. So what happened? Purchaser had fun for a bit dealing average damage for a few moments until they got wrecked by someone who has competed in that tier for a period of time. So the purchaser had fun, paid the devs salary and server bill (a wee bit) and got inspired to grind build something better for that tier in other words ... Became more engaged in the game. The pay for premium to get extra resources and additional friend slot on a platoon is priced a little aggressively.

This game has the potential to be a smash hit. Let's you be creative and think out the box. You get to see all kinds of creations and blow them up. The seems to be maturing at a good rate. Hell, it is free and worth at least an hours investment. It might get you hooked.
