Amnesia: The Dark Descent is by far one of the best horror games I've ever played. The setting, story and atmosphere is as unsettling as it is captivating.

Truly a unique experience of its time, and a testament of what can make a great horror game.


The Brennenburg Castle in-which the game takes place is a perfect setting. An old decrepit castle with a Baron that has been "helping" you do horrible deeds to save yourself.
With a story rich presence, The Dark Descent truly has you descending into the darkest pits of your own mind.

The Shadow that looms over Danial is ever present and getting ever close. If only the Shadow was the only thing to fear in this masterpiece of a game, there are also the monsters roaming the halls of Brennenburg Castle, the Gatherers!

Everything about Amnesia: The Dark Descent is truly a work or art, from its masterful story to its beautiful soundtrack, it is a game all fans of horror should pick up.

Take a trip to Prussia and roam the dark halls of Brennenburg Castle and find what horrible things truly lies within those dark depths.
