Similar to L4D2, but with much more emphasis on melee (and co-op only). The atmosphere is amazing - the sound design, the banter between the characters. They really nail the Warhammer feel. The combat feels visceral and involved: jarring at times, overwhelming at times. The gameplay is engaging and fun. It may not be a game you play constantly for years, but it's worth the price and something you can easily have fun with for a few months, put down, and then come back and enjoy again.

Optimization isn't great, so it may chug a bit for some people. I have lower spec PC and it shows with this game sometimes. But Fatshark has consistently been improving on the game and hopefully this will also be improved with time.

This may be a good game, underneath it all. But it's so strangled by it's f2p restrictions that it's hard to really get into it.
