Imagine a game where you character-create your personal character, AND your companion; So I get to climb big monsters and save the world with my boyfriend, and also throw him into rivers when he's annoying :) And dress him in skimpy clothes

My two honest complaints: Between this game and the first game, it didn't make any huge changes even though the games are like ten years apart. There are new mechanics but they are minor. Secondly, some performance issues with loading times and vocation-changing, but I feel like that is fixable lol

Dragon's Dogma 1 is my favorite game of all time, so I think if you like that game, you will enjoy this one! It's a pretty comfy RPG to get lost in - lots of cool armor and big monster fights.

I'm mostly writing this for the summer grand prix thing, BUT I chose to do it for this game because it's getting close to being my top played game on Steam.

I've had Throne of Lies for a little over a year, and I still play it pretty consistently. I don't really know how to describe the gameplay; all I know is I really enjoy it. It's like a crazy game of Clue. Everyone spends the night using some sort of ability (good or bad), and the next day you're all trying to rat out the person who is murdering other people.

I think my favorite thing about the game itself, is the fact that it changes all the time. The devs will put in an update that changes how characters act, and every time that happens, I end up playing more because it's fun to figure out the new ways the game works. The "meta" constantly changes. It's great. I don't know if it will be that way forever.

Some people have issue with the toxicity, but I am not one of them. I laugh very hard when people call each other "stupid idiot," or they say you're bad at the game, and then get executed lol. The community is unique, and I like the memes and dynamics within it. Also, some reviews people are saying they get banned a lot. I only report people that say slurs or leave the game early, and I think that's how most people are, so I wouldn't worry about it.

The only thing that actually sucks imo, is the amount of players there are. Some days I match into a game in under a minute, but other days it can be close to 10. Anywaaays, I don't really know what else to say. Buy the game if you like stuff like ToS! This one is better.
