48 hours in and I'm still in act 1. I don't think the game was meant to be played like this.

This Game Will Hurt You.

Absolutely incredible soundtrack, and so much fun with friends.

Groovy.

Although this game is a lot of fun, I feel it would be better to wait for more content to be added before purchasing it. Being able to resculpt the land to make it more helpful and personal is a nice touch on the farming genre, and being able to physically repair damaged structures is a nice touch. Admittedly, building houses for new villagers was a chore, and way more expensive than I was expecting.

My greatest concern at the moment is that it's much easier to make money doing anything ELSE besides the primary goal of the game; I was able to make way more money in an afternoon of fishing and bug-catching than I did after growing a small crop of cucumbers. I feel this would probably need some minor tweaks in the future, as it is way too easy to spend the day going to the same place for the better bugs, selling them, starting the next day, and then going back to the same place and doing it all over again.

Overall, as I said to begin with, this is probably one of those games I would suggest buying when it has more content, or at least, when it's on sale. No experience with the multiplayer yet, but that might be due to nobody else I know owning the game.
