I love exploration and story driven games but I hated this one. The environment was visually uninspired, the writing was very poor, and the pacing was far too slow. The main isssue with the pacing is the need to collect objects from the environment in order to progress through the story, for me this took 35 minutes of scouring the same monotonous (yet small) map looking for a sheet of paper. Even when additional options are available (IE gas tanks to fill a lantern) you must find the creator specified object to continue.

Eventually it grew so tedious I found a youtube walkthrough to see the ending which I found as uninspired and predictable as the rest of the game.

The adventure genre has enormous story telling potential, save yourself the time on this one and pick up far better crafted Firewatch or Dear Ester.
