I'm a forever DM. Playing BG3 is like having Larian Studios DM you through a personal adventure. This is DND, plain and simple, and the best adaptation of the system to date, with all new systems for you to learn and break. After 10 years with 5e, this game made me fall in love with the game all over again.

And that's not even starting on the gratuitous level of quality of the entire presentation.

As of launch, its completely unplayable. I gathered my four friends after a hard day, we logged on, excitedly chose our characters, and waited for "Matchmaking" to find us a server for our full party of 4.
