yeahhhhh I actually got it to work by using a usb controller, then after that my keyboard decided to work. thanks tho

If you're using an external controler, you could always try mapping the buttons to your keyboard and run the game through that. In theory the game wouldn't know you were using one in the first place. Not much advice if your keyboard inputs don't work tho.
