Game is great, when it works.

Just like every Owlcat new release, really buggy. You will probably need toybox at some point if you want to progress to fix a gamebreaking bug. I would wait 6 months or so before playing this.

I've gone through all content Phantom Liberty has to offer and since you can't give a mixed review on steam, I'm going to give a thumbs down.

This so called expansion got the same narrative problems the main game has and it still isn't a "true RPG" (If you want that go play Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous or Baldur's Gate 3).

In reality Cyberpunk 2.0 is an adventure game with RPG skill trees, but no reactivity on choices at all, it is just a big railroaded game, with railroaded quests.
Your background never mattered in the main game and it still doesn't matter in Phantom Liberty either, being a corpo, street kid or nomad changes absolutely nothing.

The difference is now you got radiant quests (loot boxes falling from the sky, or steal the same car over and over again woohoo)... something other companies been doing for like forever.

Best part of this DLC is the soundtrack. The only thing 10/10 this game has to offer.

After playing from start to finish, this game is certainly the best crpg in 20 years.

I played this in another platform and I got the ultimate edition to play the DLCs (which I haven't played yet).
The base game main story is the worst story I played in a game developed by Obsidian.
Base game is only worth getting at 75% discount.

PS: The fake Italian present in Deadfire and ship combat are really annoying features.

Game was good until they decided to force you to make an ep*c account.

This will be (maybe) good in a couple of years. I wouldn't pay more than 20 USD/EUR for it.

Definitely one of the best games released this year.
