Easily the best game I have ever played objectively, and my favorite game of all time subjectively. What an absolute masterpiece. Seriously, do yourself a favor and pick this up.

Star Wars the Force Unleashed is the ultimate Star Wars Game. I'm sure that at some point during a Star Wars game we've all said to ourselves "Why the ♥♥♥♥ can't I just throw this guy off the edge of a cliff with the force?", well, now you can ACTUALLY DO THAT.

This game lets you use all the force goodies from the movies, plus a couple new ones, such as creating a force shockwave and imbuing your lightsaber with sith lightning.

The combat is fast paced and dodge-oriented. You get health for killing any enemy, but be careful; on higher difficulties you can be torn asunder by blaster fire very quickly.

From a story standpoint, this is a game that takes place during the "Dark Times", the period between episodes III and IV where the last of the jedi were being hunted down, and the Rebel Alliance hadn't been formed. The game takes you through the deaths of most of the remaining jedi, and shows the origins of the Rebel Alliance, as well as Vader's plan to overthrow Emperor Palpatine (supporting his actions in Episode VI).
