Man, I really wanted to like this game but...it's just not very good. I was initially drawn in by the striking art style. Obviously evoking Limbo, the art direction is very cool and the world is interesting as well. Unfortunately, that's about the only bright spot for Monochroma. It's doomed by sluggish controls and trial-and-error puzzles that lead to aggrivating deaths. I'm not usually one to get frustrated, but this game made me want to throw my controller through my screen after the 8th time replaying a platforming section and my character constatly missing a ledge and dying.

While it may look appealing, Monochroma fails as a platformer and proves to be more frustrating than enjoyable. Spend your money and time elsewhere.
