Thanks for that i never knew that desktops were under 300$ and i was thinking about
building computer or laptop.

One last thing is that though desktops seem more expensive, they are not. In fact, a gaming rig I set up for a friend cost 300$ exactly, and he has no problems playing Skyrim and BF3 on medium. If you need help with this kind of stuff, I can put together a build for you, and all you have to do is learn how to put together the parts, which is demonstrated in http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lPIXAtNGGCw . Again, I don't mind which machine you get, but I'm trying to save you from a lot of frustration.

If you get a laptop, that's okay with me because it's got nothing to do with me. It's just that laptops are not upgradeable in terms of the motherboard, graphics, and power supply, all parts that are upgraded constantly, and as such become outmodedand obsolete quickly. I've had a laptop before, and it was terrible in its last months because of how outdated the parts are. I now have a desktop that can have every single part upgraded, limited only by compatibility between parts which easily can be fixed by changing the incompatible part(s), so IMO it's much more convenient in terms of performance and upgradeability with the cost of a lack of portability, which becomes miniscule quite fast.

Do not get a laptop. IMO it is one of the worst decisions to make when getting a computer, try getting a desktop, because they have much better upgradeability.
