a lot of ♥♥♥♥♥♥ bugs like many players being unable to rematch an opponent after a ranked match. when this happens, you have to wait around a minute for the 30 second rematch timer to expire (and for some reason 30 more after that). Also, if my DS4 ever disconnects during a session, the game will not register when i plug it back in, leading me to have to restart the game. unsure if this happens with other controller types.

all that said, the game is great. i've played a few fighting games, but the inclusion of simplified magic inputs is nice for a new generation of players. definitely a game heading in the right direction. also i ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ love RPGs, and the theme for the game -- including magic as meter -- is very cool. interested to see how this game develops and holds up. some people complain about combo sameness, but i think that's true of a lot of fighting games regardless one you play them long enough. regardless, setplay and neutral interaction feels fun.
