Recent reviews by Rainbows make me cry :'(

This is actually the first Total War game which is unplayable for me. I tried fixing this game for like 15 hours but I can't get it to work properly above small unit size.

In larger battles the units will begin to stutter, it is like as if you were speeding the game up by x3. I read that this is a CPU problem and to be fair I have a relative old CPU in my PC but there should be no reason I can't get it to work above small unit size without stuttering because even Warhammer II runs perfectly on ultra unit size with my setup and also Rome II with modded unit sizes of around 200-400 men per unit will on large battles only drop a bit in fps but thats it.

To conclude: it seems as if CA just really didn't bother to optimize this game and left it in a broken state. There were also A LOT of bugs in my few hours of gameplay.
The game itself though seemed actually pretty interesting with new mechanics, an actually good diplomacy feature and interesting generals with RPG elements to them. I hope there will be a mod one day who can magically fix everything but this seems very unlikely.

It is a real shame and I'm going to wait at least a few months for reviews and bug fixes to settle before buying Warhammer III after playing this broken game
