This and its previous game EBF4 are shockingly fun little RPGs. As far as its parody humor goes it can be hit or miss, but i find it falls on the charming side more often then not. Honestly though the most impressive part is how fun and tactical the combat can be, while not super difficult it does make you think (it helps that some over powered skills from EBF4 have been tweeked) and is always pretty fun.

I give it a solid 8/10. It's worth your time if you enjoy turn-based RPGs even a little bit

The best paper mario game since the Thousand year door.

It's a pretty great demo, while it lacks in variety and length this is to be expected.

What makes this game worth the time is the Graze system and Time system. Grazing is as it sounds were you "graze" an enemy or projectile you restore some HP, MP and Time.

On the subject of time you can stop time for everything but your self and in this mode you can throw attacks and move around but doing so uses up your time gauge. This has enviromental effects as well such as stopping moving object or soldifiying water to act as a floor or wall.

As for a few complaints. I feel that the writing of sakuya is a bit off, she is lacking the confidence and unflappable nature she is known for. also one small nitpick is that the walking animation looks kind of stupid, her arms most of all.

all and all if you dont mind the fact that this is a demo you can polish off in less then an hour then i highly reccomend this.

A good fun JRPG with a very meta twist. it can be grindy and fan servicy at time but it is bursting at the seams with charm with loveable characters and amusing dialouge. a must buy for fans of rpgs and good characters.
