MW2 (2022): rough start, but turned out to be awesome

MW3 (2023): The game that every streamer and Twitter-warrior complained for. The TTK is insane, it feels like you're playing Halo. The crybaby streamers made it so Dead Silence is a perk again too. An average AR takes 6 bullets to kill with the terrible 150 health system. MW3 is a pile of trash and it's 100% to do with the TTK and Sledgehammer being such pushovers and letting the Competitive Community push them into changing up the core formula of CoD so much.

Sledgehammer games has a track record of never producing a finished product when making a CoD game, and this is yet another entry of theirs to prove it. Think about it; Advanced Warfare, WWII, and Vanguard were all hot garbage and now we're forced to play a game where it takes 1/3 of a mag to win a fight. This game is a massive disrespect and slap to the face to anyone who played 2009 MW2.

I'm going to most likely return this game because the TTK makes multiplayer not fun at all. I have closed MW3 in anger so many times during this beta. Sledgehammer seems intent on alienating the fanbase of the original 2009 MW2, and if that's the case, I'd rather give my money to anybody else.

You know what would be awesome Activision? MOD TOOLS, for CUSTOM MAPS and FREE, ENDLESS CONTENT. Wow, who would have thought the key to the game's survival is letting people make free content FOR YOU?

Call of Duty is a joke. Microsoft owns it now so the franchise is essentially dead in the water. MW2019 was the perfect formula, we just needed more of that. Been playing CoD since CoD4 and I'm sick of streamers ruining the games I love.

Originally had a positive review but Showcase mode is the worst thing ever. It sucked last year, and it sucks this year.

It's a cool idea, but you need the option to turn off the offense entirely. I shouldn't have to waste hours of my life losing to Cena in the last third of the match. It's not fun and it's not a good experience for casual players. I play this game to have fun and unwind, however, Showcase mode just stresses you out and makes you want to close the game because you can't unlock characters you should have unlocked by default.

The pinning and submission systems suck, they're just button mashing and the submissions are really hard to beat most of the time. The multiplayer doesn't work half the time, either crashing the game or causing a disconnect. Everything else is great and I'll change my review once they fix multiplayer.
