Lovely, moving little game about happy little people, one of which desires the Moon. In these trying times you do need a bit of sweetness every once in a while and the innocence of this game gives you just that. Beautiful graphics and an amazing soundtrack. The style kind of reminds me of another lovely, moving game which was Tower of Heaven.

I wonder where the author went, because I would have loved to see more from him.
The fact there's not more from him makes this game feel even more melancholy and nostalgic than it already is. A very bittersweet little experience if you like me can't really handle overly innocent and sweet little utopias.

I did love the setting, the almost universal shades of brown color pallet, the claustrophobic feeling. The game is also honestly quite fun. I love that it seems to draw from Czech culture, politics and legends as well. And the game manages to feel gritty, grimy, claustrophobic and oppressive. A hidden gem.

I haven't even finished it yet, but let me just write a review anyway.
This game just looks and sounds so sweet, without being overly sweet. Victor Butzelaar's music, which I always love, also fits perfectly. There's hidden wisdom in the drawings and atmosphere, it's not a cartoon. It's almost bittersweet. It talks about life.
I'm a grown man basically and I never cry, I only rarely tear up at things like operas. Very rarely have I ever teared up at a game. This game makes me tear up and I just started it, I'm 12 minutes in.
If this was his objective, his developer hit the nail on the head. Bravo.

I cannot for the life of me recommend the Repentance DLC in good conscience. Sure, the new areas look neat and so do the enemies. The OST is enjoyable as well. But the game is no longer what it used to be and it frankly comes off as unplayable. Before the DLC if you were decent at the game and got half decent objects throughout the run it was a very likely win, and even if you lost, you would be like "Oh well", because you knew you would get it the next time. But now despite 2 days of trying and various combinations of items I have yet to beat the Mother, and I'm not new at the game having 100%d it (twice). It went from being a carefree experience where you would gladly sacrifice all your health for risky but fun deals with the devil to one where you have to constantly play on your toes knowing full well if you don't get a decent item or a rare blue heart spawn your run is pretty much over. The powerful items that could have been used to counter the huge difficulty spike are at best as powerful as many Afterbirth items that are now nerfed, It used to be fun and winnable and now it just isn't either. I hope some rebalancing will be done, as opposed to the "rebalancing" this DLC was supposed to be. It just doesn't feel like the game I used to love anymore.

It's not often that a game moves me anymore. This one definitely does. Makes you care for the characters, makes you want them to survive the impossible odds they are forced to face. It makes you hope they have a future and that someway earth's total annihilation won't be the end for them. But if you want to even have a shot at surviving, you must not rest for a minute: many of your actions take time, and time definitely is of the essence. You don't want to waste it doing something redundant, or wasting time going back and forth between places. There's no rest for you until you reach your goal, and even then...
Even the soundtrack contributes to the feeling of desperation our heroes most likely go through as they struggle, and the end of day scenes feel very personal and heartfelt. The puzzles are not too obvious and can be mostly resolved in more than one way. The game is definitely way more longeve than the average length of the usual flash escape games you are probably accostumed to, both by Scriptwelder and others,
Don't Escape: 4 Days to Survive feels final, after the three piece collection of the previous ones. But I wish there was more. And if there ever was, I would treasure it even more than I did with this one. There's even theories that this one game ties up with the Deep Sleep series. Scriptwelder as a creator has a lot of potential, and so does the universe he seems to be creating.

Eh, I like the surrealism of it although it means very little to me. It reminds me of those flash games where a simple platformer has a twist at every level, such an invisible platform, or you have to wait for the exit to appear. If the devs meant to convey a particular meaning or sensation through this game, it was lost on me. I'll still give it a yes but I'm not too sure why, I guess there's more that can be done using the same ideas.

From the creators of the incredible The Last Door saga, here comes a land full of anguish, where the Penitent one, the character player, is on a journey towards the mysteries of the Miracle, an imperscrutable, perhaps malicious manifestation of the Divine Will, who loves to torture and punish the innocent in deliciously evil, even sarcastic ways which remind of the Dantesque "Contrappasso". Not going to say a word more, just play it for yourself, for the love of the High Wills, but do not expect to come out of this game light hearted. It's dark, depressing, obscure, and you'll see people punished and tortured for no good reason at all. But maybe you can do something about it...

Outstanding lore. Outstanding art. Outstanding soundtrack. The bosses are unique, each different from the other both in looks and mechanics. Very enjoyable, satisfying, hard hitting combat. A lot of hidden secrets and collectibles which will have you look into every nook and cranny. Also a very longeve game, considering the recent adding of the DLC. This game climbed to my top 3 favorite games of all time in a matter of days and is there to stay. I don't know if this is actually an objective "10/10" game, but to me, it sure feels like it.

Not playing this game is the true Sin.

Overall just a great classic styled rpg game. Its best feature has to be the heartfelt, rich storyline that the creators obviously worked very hard on. The combat is balanced and not repetitive, the characters are original and fit well with the plot, and it's also a pretty long-lasting game. The navigation can be a bit confusing at times, but what else should you expect from the World of Labyrinths? A game I can hardly find any faults in and a very nice installation in the hopefully much more longeve Labyronia series. Wholeheartedly recommend and hope the whole series gets the recognition and visibility it deserves. Thank you Labirinthine!

That was quite the trip. Depressing, sinister, but also insightful, intriguing, quite deep. The kind of game that sticks with you for a while after finishing it. Nice rpg mechanics, too. A truly creative, unique game. 8,5/10

A truly beautiful game. The art is great to look at, the story is hooking, and the atmosphere ranges from relaxed to creepy, to scary. Very relaxing to play, too. Not too short either, finished it in about three hours.
