Ship to ship battle - and assault on bays - is clunky.

Hand to hand battle is simplistic and easy.

Lack of variety of ships.

The economy is great, lots to discover.

Building an empire is great fun, as is participating in war between nations.

7/10 overall - despite its many flaws is a very original and additictve game
