They are dragging me towards the crystal and my throbbing neck is making everything feel like it's fading. I can't feel anything anymore..... My head is a mass of jumbled thoughts. I can't think. It's getting darker and darker.... Please let go, it hurts.... Can't think......
The last thing i hear is a deep-throated, feral screech that echoes off the walls and turns my blood to ice.
I think it was my own.

Of a prophecy engraved in sand
That so easily was brushed away

The world was meant to break apart
At the claws of a cold dark heart
The purple one would purge the earth
Of sin and virtue, death and birth
But instead of darkness comes the light
A glorious ending to a fearful fight
The purple one the earth he'd mend
To herald a beginning, and not an end
