I would somewhat understand not supporting SteamVR which would be a lousy thing to do but they might decide to not spend the resources. But the developers went out of their way to break unofficial support after taking money from Facebook so only their players can play the game. They had to literally spend time and resources so people with a different brand of peripherals cannot play the game. This mentality has no place in PC gaming.
