The developers have created an RPG that is absolutely upsetting to play for no good reason.
It has all the things that RPG players hate! Backtracking... Horrible inventory management... Poorly organized maps that implore you to explore and reward with you with nothing!

I love the combat minigames! Even speeding them up with the combat speed settings make every battle an absolute slog. So much so, that there's a convenient "skip" button for those who are impatient! However, you won't get comfortable with that because after every combat is an unskippable 15 seconds of watching your money winnings physically roll across the floor. For completionists who grind out all the limited enemies, it's a major waste of time. Backtracking is a waste as you will find nothing returning to previous zones, such as disappearing merchant NPCs by the Job center or the fishing man once you find some got dang BAIT for the minigame!!!

My lowest point was several hours in when a fishing minigame was introduced. I got the tutorial and was told to find bait and return. I get bait 20 minutes later, and walk all the way back to do some fishing... but the NPC is GONE! I was devastated yet again.

It's a fast paced and addicting gameplay loop that will keep you going for hours upon hours.
