So thus far, the game is fun. Cute, unique in a space that's very oversaturated, with an interesting aesthetic and a neat premise. If I had any complaints, it's that the controls are wonky and sometimes tricky to get used to (a keyboard activation alternative to mouse or controller would be nice), and the lack of a backpack system makes everything go that much slower, and it becomes very frustrating when you're trying to get anything done. It's not a deal breaker for me, and I'm hoping it's addressed in later game, but for early game? It's even more tedious than most other games in the same space.

I didn't really expect to care for this, but it was recommended to me since I liked Stardew. After deciding to give it a shot, I found myself actually really enjoying myself. The structure of the game is fast-paced and challenging without being overwhelming, and it's easy enough to learn but tricky to really master. Generally a fun experience.

Pros:
- Pleasing pixel aesthetic
- Challenging but straight-forward combat mechanics
- Engaging story
- Varied environments and a good difficulty curve

Cons:
- Can feel grindy after you've beaten a dungeon and moved to the next one
- Drops for better gear sometimes don't appear until after you've beaten a dungeon you might want them for
- Some enemies have trick weaknesses that aren't obvious or intuitive to figure out

A pleasant, thoughtful, serene management game that keeps things moving while also feeling laid back. Just an enjoyable game.
