I agree with you that camping and tunneling are base parts of effective gameplay on a killer that helps to reduce an adverse effect of the generator rush, fast healing, multiple flashlights, parties, etc. Fair play = not using cheats (at least), not hitting AFK, and waiting for them (as a maximum). That's it. Other things than that are pretty legit. But blockheaded people want to make their lives easier out of nothing almost every hecking time, just like irl, hah. And when you are not going to give them what they want, you become, inter alia, "toxic". So-called "toxicity" helps to airlift different wusses back to reality. If you are triggered, you are a loser, go work it out.
