Sable was a fantastic and emotionally touching adventure, through and through. It's an open world game taking place in this ruined desert world, and you're sent off into it with one goal: discover who you are and who you want to be. You meet interesting new characters along the way, discovering this vast world, accompanied by your bike and a stellar soundtrack. If you're a big fan of curiosity driven games like Outer Wilds or Breath of the Wild, you'll get a kick out of Sable.

That being said, some of the puzzles were frustrating at times, though rather infrequently. Specifically, there are a few puzzles which can only be solved at a certain time in the day/night cycle, meaning that if you want to solve that puzzle before heading off to do anything else, you just have to sit there and wait for the clock to hit whatever time of day you need to progress.

I think my favorite thing about this game, though, is the climax of the journey. It suddenly dawned on me at the end how much of a connection I had made with my trusty bike, and it really struck a chord to leave the adventure behind and make a decision as to what I wanted for my Sable.

Overall, I'd give Sable a solid 9/10, definitely worth the time and money to experience it yourself.

This has to be one of my favorite games of all time. The gameplay is simple and straightforward, but the ways that you go about solving puzzles, discovering more about the universe, and ultimately pulling together everything you've learned about to beat the game was so damn satisfying and amazingly done. If I could forget everything about this game and play it again right now, I would.
