Early Access Review
I made my previous review a long time ago and was asked to make a new review. I installed it and the settings chose to run in highest quality given my computer specs, but I think it was too heavy. It was not clear what to do at the start. I needed wood and found a tree and didn't know if I was to use the left or right mouse button. I ended up with my right mouse button, but just taking down 1 tree for the meter to fill up took a loooong time. Then I needed stone and I saw some rocks somewhere which I managed to use.
Another thing is that the game is filled with hills, but everytime you stand on a hill you start sliding off. Standing still and taking down trees becomes really difficult.
Then I found a house with a door and I had no clue how to open it. The hints at the top were very vague.
So Im sorry to say that I still don't recommend it. It is just not userfriendly and I'd rather play Minecraft, even though its graphics aren't as nice.

Now in February 2023 I decided to have another look at the game because the pictures / updates coming buy seemed to be an improvement.But after the game installed it was very laggy. I chose landscape 4. The first world placed me under water where I died, because I didn't know how to swim up. Space bar didn't do anything.
When looking at the recommended computer requirements, then my laptop is way beyond those requirements and still the game behaves slowly, even when setting the graphics to lowest (some only allow high/highest and changing the resolution to lower.
Though the world looks nice at first glance, the controls are hopeless. I managed to walk up to a tree, but I have idea how to get its wood. a simple left click didn't seem to do anything.
If the focus of development was more towards playability than aesthetics, then I would have tried playing it more often.
I still don't recommend this game.

Please familiarize yourself with the recent developments, redownload the game, play it for a bit and update the review as necessary.
