This game did not hold to my expectations. Combat is based on chance rather than skill; enemies randomly deal more or take less damage, attempts to block will fail if initiated too soon or too late by a microsecond. In any other game, a high death count would be blamed on lazy miscalculations or an overzealous risk, but in Condemned, every death follows an arbitrary and enraging change in damage.
Also the story is mindnumbing and goes nowhere in the sequel.
