When people talk about how games like Alyx feel like "real" VR games, this game should be part of the conversation. This game fully breaks off of the curse of VR games where they just feel like tech demos or sandboxes. This is a "real" VR game.

I played this way back when it was new and I have to say I still regard it as some of the best locomotion in any vr game I've played. Would love to see more from these concepts.

features your real fps as a game mechanic

Very cute and very scary. The low visibility is a plus in that it really does make you feel like you're feeling around in the dark and having to make a mental map of the walls around you. The game is quite difficult due to that but once you know where you're going and how to tackle each situation it becomes much easier. It feels quite similar to Marrow, and I wouldn't be surprised if it was directly inspired by it.

This game is good if you go into it not expecting anything you've played before. Your expectations betray you, king of rodents.
