Hey man, I dunno if it's your thing, but I just started playing Eve Online by downloading the trial through Steam. The interface is a little unintuitive, but the tutorials are very thourough so yo know how to do stuff. It's all about flying around space and trading goods, scamming other players and ship-to-ship fighting, but it's not as active as other MMOs. Maybe we can team up and pool resources or something.

I'm on the Tranquility server as a Gallente right now running tutorial missions if you want to install it and give it a shot. Unfortunately, Steam's installer is like 8GB and I swear there was another 4GB of patching after the initial install. Throw me a message if you're interested.
