Why should marijuana be legal?

Ill tell u why......47& of all prison sentences r drug related while 25% of those r marijuana charges mostly misdemeanor but repeat offenses.....(release a large amount of these people).....After tax $ is saved then maybe each state could produce a liscense that expired every 2 yrs or so that allowed the use and pocesssion of small amounts of bud....I would buy that liscense WOULD YOU??? let me know.......
