Early Access Review
VHS is a asymmetrical 4v1 game where teens get pitted against a monster and have to kill it by hitting it with 4 different weapon types before the monster gets all of them

Let one thing be clear that the game objectives make the play style for each side radically different compared to other asyms. Teens need to coordinate and act fast to get a wound on the monster and avoid retaliation as all it takes is one teen getting hit when planning a attack to cause a major disruption.

Monsters need to learn to use the environment to their advantage to avoid teen attacks and to also bait out teens and make them waste their weapons in combination of their abilities. They also need to have a good amount of situational awareness when focusing on specific teens to interrupt others working or avoid walking into a ambush.

This is a solid game with a fun style and theme, and I do wish for it to see future support and popularity, but there are some things that I do want to address

- Monster does have a bit of a heavy learning curve, especially if you are coming from games like dbd, needing to know what weapons the teens can have and areas where they can do coordinated attacks. Even if it is constantly said that monsters are punching bags, they are still strong. I had more teen games getting shut down very quickly compared to teens shutting down the monster.

Sound design can be off, and in times way too loud (if you're playing werewolf, you're gonna need to turn down the volume a bit if you got sensitive ears), but I have never really had major issues with it.

and per the usual issue with asyms, balancing can be weird to do without having one side get the major advantage, and also leading to a issue with queue times.

But in all honesty, this is a very fun concept, and I am hoping that this game will keep getting support

First game as Twins and i had Victor get stuck in the ground on 3 different occassions, a good chunk of the perks dont work and many bugs persist from the PTB despite having a good window of time to fix them. I never really had issues with most of the chapters as the issues tend to be on the smaller side, but GOOD GOD did this chapter need more time to be refined

Rather difficult early game due to bringing in strong monsters at the start, but prey is a really engaging experience offering you multiple ways to tackle a subject and a subtle yet in depth morality aspect when it comes to dealing with survivors of the outbreak.

Rather fun roguelike elements and does a great mixup of the standard game formula.

Story itself is rather short though, but this dlc seems to go more for replayability.

A game that's catches the feeling and animations of 30s cartoons and difficulty of old school run and gun platformers perfectly
