You can beat a dragon to death with hand-mounted bowling balls

It's a buggy mess that requires you spend about 20-30% of your non-combat time in loading screens.

BUT the writing is top-notch, the combat is just the right level of complex, and the sum of the game's mechanics really _do_ make you feel like you're a highly-privileged member of the Imperium's frontier nobility.

If you like the old might and magic games, this one is for you.

Direct improvement on Legends of Amberland 1. World map has more going on, towns feel much more like towns, dungeons are significantly better.

The resistance system got a nice upgrade, and the introduction of bows to enable DEX-based physical characters is something the first game was really missing.

The music's good too.

Not usually a VN/Dating sim kind of person but this was incredible.

X-COM crossed with Darkest Dungeon with a vermintide-like theme and a solid art style. Everything comes together nicely.

Solid game, and a great value for the price point.

If you liked Silent Hill 1 and 2, this game is for you.

Well-paced, and the right length. Recommend.

I flooded my fortress with water trying to build a cistern and everyone died.

10/10, would abandon fort again.

Imagine if grinding in runescape was actually fun, then add a building element on top of that. I cannot stop playing this game.
