Beautiful. Short. Challenging (but you can skip difficult sections - temples - if you want to). Not deserve "mixed" reviews, tbh. Get on sale.

Regardless platforming:
it took me 1.8h to finish my second playthrough and clear all 8 temples. If you love precision platformers (timing!), and can do ~20 attempts per screen and won't rage quit after it, you'll be fine. (I bet Celeste fans will find the game easy ;p)

Must-play for old school adventure players

It's hard to write a review for Machinika Museum without mentioning The Room, so I won't even try. The game is good; I'm looking forward to the continuation of the story.

AAAA, that's hilarious! Perfect for boosting holiday mood. The voice acting and in-game radio deserve applause.
"Must play" is all I can say. And remember everyone, wham wham!

Beautifully drawn hidden object game. Right now it has 9 levels with a total playtime of about 1-1.5 hours, but it was a very well-spent time, so I'm looking forward to the whole game. I bet playing with children will be even more fun.

Cannot recommend it for experienced players. Too easy, too boring. Most of the puzzles are 15x15, and that's not enough for a challenge. A soundtrack is too short and it will repeat itself very soon, so my game was muted for a good 14 hours out of 18.

This game gave me back my faith in games made with RPGMaker — it's charming, beautiful, thoughtful & melancholic. You won't get any fast action from it: all scenes are slow-paced, and it's pretty rare nowadays. It's "a beautiful apocalypse" after all — for those who are a bit romantic at heart (quite a cliche, so what of it).

Must have for puzzle lovers.

But I suggest you: try it first and see if it's your type of the game (and use steam refund if needed). Because there are a lot of puzzles, and you literally will go from one in-game screen to another almost all the time. 30+ hours of puzzles, and those are not for relaxation. Don't forget your pen & paper.
If you open to challenge and stubborn (or just smart, haha), the game won't disappoint you — it's a masterpiece.
