Dave the Diver is a love letter to games of all styles. 2D pixel art combined with some 3D effects never comes off as cheap, minigames of all flavors keep things interesting, and the content just seems to keep on coming. The only knock is many of the mechanics are used in a single minigame, never to be seen again. But, with how much is going on, it hardly detracts from the experience. The developers are constantly taking feedback from players on their experience and are always striving to make the experience better.
