Like.. I really don't know what to think of this game exactly. I remember when the announcement for CS:GO came out, we were promissed a new and better version of 1.6 but still looked and feeled the same. This is not this game. For a guy like me, who started his CS carreer back in the first Beta, this is as far from the same game as CS:S is to CS:CZ. There are so many things I really don't like about this game. 64 tic servers, instead of 128, ridiculous recoil and hitboxes, badly redered and designed weapon models and skin support. None of this makes any sense to me at all since that was bannished before and I really don't see the need for it to be there in the first place, if they had designed the game like they said they were going to.
This game has as many flaws to it, as all of the other versions combined.

But when all of that is said, I think this is a great game for the next generation of competitive players, the ones who maybe weren't born when we older kids started playing back then or maybe just players who wanted to become a competitive player in any of the other games. It adds most of the things they already know from BF or COD and throws it together with that Counter-Strike-esk/ish feeling to it. Which is a good thing though, they are the ones who has to take over for the rest of us who's retired from competitive play now. And that's a good thing, they are the future of pro gaming and it's those people the have to cater to/for now. So in that respect I think it's a good game, but from personal feel and experience with it. I don't like it. I think they could have done much more to the game that would have made it a more 1.6-ish game. But all in all, it's the new players we have to cater for and they seem to love this game, so I guess Valve made a good job in that respect.

Other then that there really isn't much more to say about it. It has it good and bad sides to it. (For us oldboys, maybe more bad than good) But it does what it is supposed to do.
