If you enjoy playing Hawken this bundle is a good value. You are sure to find a mech that suits your playstyle, as you get 3 different mechs from each weight class, as well as 9 additional unlocked weapons to experiment with. The cool skins, emblem, currency and repair bot are all just a nice bonus. I'd definitely recommend this to new players as you may never need to purchase anything else. This pack gives you a lot of variety for the cost.

This is a very fun game and I love the visuals and sound. IMO there is no great increase in power as you level up your mech. You do gain benfits from equipping various internals, items, and alternate weapons to suit your style of gameplay, but you can unlock and purchase ALL of these just by playing the game.

A great many people just max out the free starter mech and kick ass with it. You are even rewarded with new, elite chassis parts as you level each mech, including the starter. They confer no benefit but they do change the look of your mech if you choose to install them. If you can get any kind of teamwork going the game gets even better.

I much prefer this game to MWO, and I certainly like the devs and community more. Unlike MWO your camo unlocks are account wide and can be applied to any or all of your mechs. This is a great game to pick it up, and the starter bundles are a good value in my opinion. If you were thinkng about trying the game, I'd definitely say check it out.
