I did enjoy playing this on stream with viewers but found the game itself missing one thing I want games to be: fun.

I went in hoping to be spooked but found myself frustrated and on rails for an experience that has a lot of great ideas but nothing that felt put together in a great way.

Key example: the Crucified people. WHAT A RAD MECHANIC because the blend of the atmosphere with the gameplay stealth puzzle. However, the voice acting was on a loop and because it’s sight based, the audio just ends when you walk behind something. That alone, I could ignore, but because of how the pathing of villagers works, it was more frustrating than it was a fun/ intense challenge.

I think if the game had been trimmed or had one or two features (for example, being able to toss an item to distract enemies or being able to use your rod/staff/ wand to deter enemies) it would have made everything feel more cohesive.

Anyways, thanks for the game and for giving me a chance to share my thoughts! I think the price point is much too high to recommend but if it’s on a steep sale or an update fixes some of those design issues, I could be swayed.

The amount of fun I have playing this game is truly disgusting.
