Even on Easy the game is still not beatable.

1) Leveling is completely pointless starting with level 76 because there are no skills to add points to anymore.

2) Leveling is not very helpful even on lower levels. You can add max 10 points to ATK which means ATK value increase from 310 to 340. You can add max 10 points to HP which means increase 5500 instead of 5000 (with heavy armor). What's the point? Even with maxed out character the amount of damage you do to bosses at the end of the game is silly (literally milimeters of their health bar) but they kill you in a couple of hits. The same applies to awards for beating sub-bosses (like 15 HP or 2 ATK).

3) Enemies continue to attack even when they're hit (the same doesn't apply to Panda) which means majority of multi-hit skills/combos is useless (bosses usually kill you during combo).

4) Especially bosses attack almost constantly with very little window of opportunity to attack them. And when they are not attacking, they are blocking (Panda can't use unblockable power attacks like enemies).

5) Lot of attacks are usually like "magnetic" and because of that it's very difficult to dogde them.

How the boss fights usually look like can be seen in gameplay video on this page. The last boss is 0:58.

EDIT: There are other skills to invest to but the game doesn't indicate it at all. There are 33 skills total and it's necessary to use mouse wheel to see the other ones. So leveling is not pointless, game is beatable on Easy but still not balanced very well.

If you like Metroid Prime series, give it a try. Exploration as a motivation factor works very well.

After 16 hours and completely upgraded both character skills and base skills the game is still pretty much unplayable due to the Foundry levels design (both map and enemy desing). After another 4 hours on Easy I refuse to continue on.

1) In order to beat the game I am forced to get at the end several times. After beating mini-boss the next level to the boss is opened ... and skipped at the same time, whose clever idea was this?
2) In order to be able to beat the game you need Modules (upgrading character skills and base skills don't help that much) and that means always playing for an hour to get to the last boss (The Sentinel)
3) Last boss was piece of garbage before (being one-shotted after hour of playing is very funny indeed) and after 2.0 UPRISING patch the fight is even worse

Stop wasting my time (both developers of such sub-par game and readers who constantly give sub-par games Positive reviews).

Yet another prototype, disguised as a finished product.

Two types of enemies (final boss included), six levels, three types of swords and one shield. Fighting the enemies is pointless (no loot, no character development, you only lose health and there is no way to heal yourself except finishing the actual level) so it makes sense to fight only when you have to (when it's part of the task).

There are invisible walls pretty much everywhere (with enemies behind them). Esc opens settings but doesn't close them. You can parry with empty hand. Punisher mode can't be activated. You have to roll by Shift + Spacebar instead of using only one key (and you can't roll away from enemies). Crouching is pointless. When you are defeated by the last boss in level 6 you're sent back to level 4. When you defeated the last boss you're kicked back to OS (without achievement) and when you load save out of curiosity ... you're sent back to level 4. And before you ask, no, backing up save really doesn't help.

92 % Really?

First hour was quite fun. After it the game gets very repetitive. After two hours you probably unlocked every weapon, shield and ability and pretty much seen all the game content.

And then the slog begins. Even with save backup (without it it's even worse because you are forced to repeat normal fight in order to be able to repeat boss fight when defeated). Because boss fights are quite unbalanced (especially the last one which took me like one third of the whole playtime).

Bland, boring, all levels look the same thanks to same rooms repeated at nauseam.

Somewhere around level 7 the game becomes slog even on normal. Around level 13 the game becomes pretty much unplayable due to amount of enemies with ranged attacks and rooms with respawn.

Developers, stop creating bad parodies of my favourite souls-like genre and start to test your games properly (meaning play your own games from start to end on normal difficulty before asking for our money). Players, stop recommending games without beating them.

EDIT: I'm at the beginning of level 15 on normal and it's already one of the most frustrating gaming experience in last couple of years. Good work.

EDIT 2: Finished the game on easy (level 15 is the last despite the game claims that there are 20 levels). One of the most frustrating and badly design games in last couple of years indeed.

1/10

Inventory is one big mess (no grouping, sorting or moving so there are quest items, consumables and crafting items in random order all over the inventory). Item description is cryptic and completely useless.

Combat is incredible floaty. There are enemies who can shoot you while you can't.

Main map is huge, empty and utterly boring. There are two kinds of teleports instead of being able to fast travel to any of them unlocked before.

There is only one place in the whole game where you can level up ... and it is usually far away from anyting else.

Story doesn't make any sense.

And don't get me started about jumping sequences.

After 15 hours I have no intention to go on despite the fact that I love souls-likes and finished dozens of them. How is this 76 % positive game is completely beyond me.

TWO MONTHS is a very good souls-like. It contains a lot of different enemies (with special attacks as well) and 6 bosses (one is optional and needed for optional ending).

Character development is based on using a grid. At first it has 4x4 squares and can be expanded up to 8x8 squares. There are 12 different upgrade types (tetris-like shapes, 4 squares) which can be put into this grid. At first each type is randomly dropped from enemy, found in a chest or acquired from NPC, then is can also be bough from merchant. Each upgrade has also it's own level and upper limit (for instance Attack Up 2/7 means 20 % to damage and can be leveled up to 7/7 which means 70 % to damage).

Don't do the same mistake I did during my first playthrough (which took me 16 hours compared to 7 hours for the second one). This is not Dark Souls regarding the build approach. You can (and should) try different builds when struggling and this is exactly where the game shines. Be always prepared to use at least several Health Ups and Attack Ups with either Stability Ups or Recovery Ups+Evade Ups and change the build according to situation.

First level is the new one.

Second level and third level is in fact first and second level from Dark Fantasy Warriors (where the first level was copied from Dark SASI, although in Dark SASI there are different enemies). I pressume that other levels are copied too.

It's still not possible to save or return to main menu. And still it doesn't make any sense to fight enemies (there is no character development at all).

EDIT: Finished. Pretty much the same game as Dark Fantasy Warriors (fourth and fifth level is also copied), only the last boss is pain in the butt due to constant teleporting, healing and summoning (he wasn't that bad in Dark Fantasy Warriors). Instead of copying other games including your own, try to create someting new. Something which actually works.
