This is an absolutely insane move by any game developer. Valve completely OVERWRITES a game that I have been playing for over a decade with the second version of the game! It's a complete asinine move, and it has forced me to stop playing a game that I have purchased on two different accounts. I am no longer able to play a game on my older system that is over a decade old by overwriting it with a completely different game. All of the money that I have placed into the game from skins, boxes, keys, and purchasing an extra prime account has been a complete waste. It is also a complete waste of my time, which was thousands of hours playing with friends. All wasted. Let's not ignore the fact they rushed the release of a game that still has many flaws, and there are little to no options for graphic tweaks in the new game.

I will upgrade to a new computer in the future, but my family comes before video games. I should not have to take money from my family to play a decade old game that Valve wants to make prettier. This game is nothing but a Valorant wannabe now, and it's a shame. There are extra sounds added and extra unnecessary graphics added. It looks prettier and it sounds completely different. Valve should have made a NEW game instead of overwriting a previous game with a couple updated files and alienating lower end computers. Very crappy move. Kudos on finally updating something, but a new game is a new game. Don't overwrite and delete a decade old game. Absolutely ridiculous.
