So I'm offering you these games if you're interested that is!
Buzz me up!
As for endings, I went with the one I preferred the most and youtube the rest ;)
It's funny that this happened now, because I've been watching an auction on ebay for TW2 for the last couple of days and hoping I would win it. It will come to close in 6 hours and I thought I would make a bid (8 dollars) at the last hour, so that my bid would be the highest one when it closes, but now I'll just get it through Steam instead. It's cheaper, faster, more trustworthy and I can get a GoG copy of TW2 by buying it on Steam. I'll only play TW2 using my GoG copy, heh, since I've only played TW1 using my GoG copy.
A lesser part comes as a subsidy and a bigger part as a student loan, but with very generous payback conditions. We don't pay any tuitions or stuff, but I hear that exchange students pay to be able to study here.
I don't know if this has anything to do with our comparatively high taxes or just something thats part of our culture or educational system, but sure is nice. With youth unemployment being quite high, some young people start studying to pass the time and get money. That's all over for me, though, I've done my time :P.
Green Man Gaming has also had a special deals week and when that ended, they continued to offer all the discounted games for 30 hours more, but I didn't see anything I wanted there either. I haven't felt this indifferent towards sales in a very long time, so we'll see if the imminent Steam Summer sale will change that. I'm going away soon, for a week, to a relative's house in the Swedish archipelago, so I might miss some of Steam's Summer sale. My indifference doesn't make me feel bad about that, most deals come more than once anyway and there aren't many games I'm looking forward to buy for cheap.
Steam sales... yeah I hear you! Last year was quite average-ish so I do hope this summer, it'll be better! I'm not planning to buy masses of games, like big combos pack of anything (since I did that for mostly all the games I had an eye on before) but maybe the occassional deal here and there, it could be worth it!
I do wonder when they'll start those Steam Summer sales though... gotta prepare that wallet! hehe
Are you planning to buy a few GOG games so far (unless you did already) ?
And what about the "imminent" Steam Sales? Planning to buy a few?
Are you planning to buy some games on GOG, for this sale?
I do have all ME games in physical format and had to download the DLC at BioWare store. As for ME3, Origin can take care of the DLC which is more convenient.
SS3 is a fine game from what I've played briefly and you will be in common grounds once you fire up that game (if you do buy it that is). Mass Effect... well, since you seem to not have played any of them yet, you "COULD" get into the franchise and finally see what the heck was all that debacle with ME3... that is justified in my opinion.
Dragon Age franchise... well, DA:O is a fine game; that should last you lots of game hours; especially with the Ultimate Edition that have all DLC. DA2 though, is very lackluster and disappointing sequel. I still haven't played more than 2 hours on it but will try to finish it... eventually!
Yeah, retirement is a strong word but in gaming, it doesn't mean much! Think what I tried to mean, is that by the time I reach my retirement (which should be around 30 more years), I'll have lots of options on that backlog...
Oh and I am "preparing" my gaming retirement, sorta... with all that huge backlog! heheh But that should last for decades!
As for the backlog, I did said "TRY TO" finish 2-3 games a week... and I do fail badly at it. 1066 games huh? Well, Steam counts DLC on that total as I actually have 563 games... which IS STILL a lot! What I can say also, is that I did have played a few of those games already, long ago... whether previous physical games that I have lost and past console games that I've re-sold at GameStop and used the money to re-buy them later AND cheaper on Steam sales!
I could also say that I had bought many "game packs" that was cheaper to buy the whole thing than selecting a few "good games"... if only I could "re-sell" some games on Steam, it would be cool!
And now with that damn backlog we keep on talking about on GameSpy, I'll give it another spin once I'm done with a few games here and there... and also, some on PS3 that I have yet to start so far.
As for SS: FE HD, it does look improved from the standard edition. Is it worth it? I'd say yes if you really dig the SS games AND, intend to replay that First Encounter!
If you've got other questions and whatnot, feel free to buzz me!
PS. And damn right Undying is one of the most creepy game I've played so far... so damn unfortunate no sequel has been made nor any talks into making a sequel has been mentioned anywhere...
