only halfway through the game, but the fact I spent an evening doing so is a testament to this being the Sonic game I've been waiting my entire life to play. old levels got some cool innovations, and the few new levels are awesome and I look forward to this team making a sequel with more original content.

I suggest people go to video settings and using the crt filter. I missed this for the first 2 zones and sorely regret it.

also, game works fine despite this.... nuva ring thing the young people are complaining about. only bug I have is d-pad input is borked, but the fact that I'm playing this despite not being able to use the d-pad should say a lot. (I mean people complain about always online, but I question their need for offline play considering how much time they're spending on steam complaining about it)
