This is my first ever review on any game. I love EU IV and especially Austria in this game, which I´ve played over a hundred campaigns on. The thrill for me was always maximising the huge potential for this country with skill and of course some luck. Could I get all the potential PUs, reign in Italy, get the Burgundian Inheritance, Spain as a Habsburg throne, micromanage all these pesky little HRE princes, beat the OP Ottomans.. and finally after intense gameplay unleash the vassal swarm to conquer the world, with barely enough time left to do it (i´m not a great player)?

I bought the DLC on release because I loved the idea of expanding HRE gameplay. Launched the first game and felt like a king revoking the privilegia by 1470, just to feel hollow and joyless from being ridiculously overpowered. On top of that the mission tree adding to what feels like an increased chance to get free PUs on pretty much everyone, it is simply no fun to play anymore.
Even finally receiving the Mare Nostrum achievement feels hollow when you get it in the early 1600s after countless tries in the old patch.

As an excited viewer of Dev Clashes I can not help but wonder (like so many others here), how they missed this. Playing 1 single game in the HRE makes all the problems glaringly obvious. An AI Austria revoking by 1550 is just ridiculous.

I apologize for my rant but I feel cheated, since now I can not play this game until it is fixed.
A plague of comets on paradox for this one...
