That just means that my magical attacks don't work on you. Everyone knows that enchanted items can't project their enchantments on other beings, silly. Therefore my decidedly non-magical rockets still blow you into very small pieces.

Everyone knows that nukes create an EMP blast. Robots don't work when in an EMP field. Since you're a super mega death robot that isn't working, I salvage your parts and make a Lv. 9001 Sentry.
I turn myself into a cockroach at the last minute, and as everyone knows cockroaches are the only thing that survives nukes. I then transform into a super mega death robot and retake your retaken irradiated page.
