Natural Selection 2 is a great game with a unique RTS/FPS element to it. However, it's lacking a lot of polish when it comes to game balance and server performance. The game was released before it was ready and had major issues during that time. It took years to correct those issues and just made it to a semi-polished release worthy state this year.

Hit registration is wonky at best. The game only runs on 30 ticks and it often times takes well over 60ms to process packets and send them back to clients. To make matters worse, the game just assumes every target is 100ms away instead of trying to compensate for ping.

Game developers have their own agenda when it comes to releasing updates and running their game. They are very dismissive when it comes to community feedback. Quite a few of the changes they push in updates people don't want. Server operators have to deal with their controlling and exclusive attitude, where they restrict basic necessaries a server needs to be succesful; on the basis of wether or not it fits the type of society they want for their game.

Over the past year, the game has really went downhill in the wrong direction. I probably wouldn't recommend this game for the community or culture. It's a gaint melting pot with a really steep learning curve. Development is hindered by the utopian society Unknown Worlds Enterintainment has created. They destoryed the competitive and modding communties. Freedom of speech of non-existent on the hub. Anything they don't like is locked or deleted.

As a Canadian, this is not the type of society I want to be a part of. I was going to launch a server for this game, but was banned and isolated by a developer due to a difference of views.

Dead by Daylight is an amazing survival game to play solo or with friends.

It has a few minor inconveniences after release, like not having a party system; but, developers have indicated this will be resolved in the near future. Like any complex survival game of this nature, it's foreseeable that more issues will arise, as it stands the test of time; however, I'm sure people can look forward to these being addressed!

I would rate this game an 8/10 and can confidently say that the price is worth it!
