Early Access Review
Movement is extremely fluid, providing for a some extra snappy and responsive combat. Building is superior to games like Minecraft and Valheim. World isn't procedurally generated; but is hand-crafted with a ton of love and detail put forward. Developers are extremely communicative, and receptive to changes and suggestions.

It's early-access so there are obviously some issues with optimization and balancing so expect some hiccups here and there, but as far as early-access frustrations go, Enshrouded is a game with least of 'em.

I was going to write a huge post about the corrupt developers, unstable development of the game, mismanagement, and censorship, but Traslogan wrote a huge detailed review here about it. Go and find it for all the details you need.

EDIT: Devs removed his post for the reason 'spam', go find MFDOOM's post before they remove that one for spam too.

Abandonware, devs dropping the game to support the sub-based Wurm Online version which will be launching on Steam soon. Wurm Online has been around since 2004 and since then the Dev team has been bastardizing the development process and ignoring the fanbase (atleast as of recent years.) Wurm Unlimited was a nice escape from the sub-mongering/dysfunctional development of the MMO as WU allowed players to fix the inherent problems plaguing WO for over a decade.

Now however, no more. If you're reading this and you're curious about Wurm Online, do some solid research and you'll find a huge cover-up operation of what I would consider the most dysfunctional development team that has ever existed, they only want your money and they'll develop the game at a snails pace if it means just a little bit of income for the skeleton crew behind the MMO.

Like a mix of Rimworld and Mount & Blade, this odd fusion is formulated to consume your time.

- Controls flow smoothly, plays just like Descent.
- HUD is rather confusing at times.
- Very pleasing visuals, gun play is quite fun however a tad slow paced.
- Content is very little, hoping for more content patches in the future.
- Though advertised as a rogue-like, gameplay is somewhat linear and lacking in variety.
- Music fits the visuals perfectly, the sounds all-around are quite enjoyable.

All around, I'd wait for the price to go down to $10 or so, or wait until content patches. It's nice for a casual play or two, but the lack in initial variety just fails to hooks me in long enough to play past a death or two.
