What a disappointment this was. A homage to System Shock with elements from Deus Ex. Failed to recieve funding and was left half-baked. Some aspects are great and it shows that they really wanted to make something. Doesn't make me angry. Makes me sad. :( I really wanted this to be good. Most important reason to avoid this game is at the bottom.

Things that function as expected:
► Rebindable controls
► Field of view adjustment
► Scarce ingame resources. Survival horror 101.
► Light-based stealth, with ability to destroy light sources
► Functional, mostly predictable stealth AI

Things that exceed expectations
▲ Fantastic horror atmosphere
▲ Great ambient soundtrack
▲ Decent texture- and animation quality for low budget
▲ Immersive amount of player control. No cutscenes, no contextual actions that alter the controls.
▲ Good voice acting

Things that fail to meet expectations
▼ Sometimes clunky interface. Interaction prompt misleads the player regarding interaction distance.
▼ Can't drop items, duplicates clutter inventory.
▼ Some problems with sound processing. Doesn't fade properly in distance occasionally.
▼ Amateur-level modeling mistakes in some meshes. Vertex normals calculated incorrectly. (not important really)
▼ Physics glitches (nothing major)
▼ Fairly linear level design
Common save glitch that spawns player underneath the level. Lack of manual saves means that you need to restart an entire chapter if you want to continue.

TL;DR Please, next time these guys want to make an awesome game, give them enough money to make it happen. I know they can do it. Good effort, bad result. A tragedy indeed.

Thanks for the heads up, I know about the smoothing group problems but I almost did all the environments by myself so I just hoped not everyone would notice such a detail like you as being 3d artist:)

Ah, well good to know. I should probably edit the review so I won't be handing out false information. Anyway, I can really see the effort and passion in what the game ended up being, and I really hope the future is kinder to whatever it is that you will be making.

And regarding the 3d models, they seem to be missing smoothing groups and only using a default (usually 40°) angle smoothing without defined groups. When an angle goes beyond that, the modeling program produces a hard angle. I saw lots of those kind of modeling errors. I don't really care about graphics quality despite being a 3d artist myself, but I thought it was kind of an amateurish mistake.

When a save game glitch occurs you don't have to restart whole game, simple you can restart that chapter, as introduced with the latest patch.
