Solarix is a superbly atmospheric sci-fi horror game made by a dedicated crew who continue to support and update the game at the time of writing. What really grabbed me about this game after watching the trailers was the setting, atmosphere and overall uniqueness. It did not dissapoint.

If you are a fan of any of the older games like System Shock 1 & 2, Thief etc I think you will really appreciate the old-school feel this game provides, which I have not been able to find in any other game for years.

Stealth is definitely encouraged and the action is carefully limited, so it does not detract from the constant sense of threat. The story slowly unfolds and evolves into a suitably dark tale :)

@The Guardian: this review is 3 years old. That should have given you a clue as to when I bought the game and whether or not it's a genuine review. Hint 1: it was around 3 years ago. Hint 2: it was years before the limited-run giveaway.

Haha! I'll give you a special ticket to be first in line at the book signing :milkminer::petrifiedtongue:. (Thats a space cat sticking out his tongue.) The novel will be about cats, dogs, owls and eels forging friendships over Steam. With microtransactions.

Forget about the game; the "superbly atmospheric" piece of art, here, is this amazing review. Looking forward to the author's debut novel!
