It's just a game. It's all my fault. I spent the last day with Yuri. I could've stopped it. It's just a game. It's all my fault. I spent the last day with Yuri. I could've stopped it. I was with Kenny til the end, until I panicked and... shot him. I thought she would just hit his arm or something. And it was all for naught cuz of that ♥♥♥♥, Jane.. "You did the right thing, Clem." No, Kenny.. I didn't. :'(

That was the first time I've rewound an episode in a Telltale game. I had to make things right. It wasn't the same cuz I knew what I had done the first time, but I felt a little better about life afterward. I made things right. I had to watch/play the dream sequence with Lee again, this time trying to hold back tears cuz my friend was in the room. Even typing this is bringing the feels back. Well done Telltale, you bastards. ;\

10/10 Would feel like a piece of ♥♥♥♥ again

If you were wondering, I stayed with Kenny out in the cold, rather than go into Wellington and leave him behind. After all that, no way was I gonna leave him.

My played time is off by many hours since I just now installed through Steam. I've been playing this since the first alpha was running and it was a lot more basic back then. Even then this game was great! I just want to start off by saying that it is still very early in development so players should keep that in mind before judging it based on any quirks of that early stage or not-yet-added features. The game itself actually runs nearly flawlessly and it's still so early in dev.

Deckbound Heroes is a turn-based, strategic TCG where you use abilities from several cards to destroy your opponent. Unlike games such as MTG, you can see your opponent's cards and there is no deck to randomly draw from. Everything is laid out, so you have to plan accordingly. You start at 15 life and get to use two abilities per turn. Since you have a maximum of seven cards in your deck, rather than 60 for MTG for example, you might think it could end quicker or have less things to do, but that isn't the case. Games can change quickly or last quite a while, and it can be pretty intense.

There is a lot under the hood of this game and there are many features that are new and unique to TCGs. I won't go into detail, but this game uses the Bitcoin blockchain to generate unique cards, while also using it and their own system to keep track of who owns which cards. At the time of writing, I have 399 cards and not one of them is the same. There are thousands of different possible names, and thousands of abilities that can be assigned to the cards, depending on where in their 3D map it spawned from the blockchain. Different areas have different types of abilities, such as healing, aoe, or damage, and the cards can either all have the same type of abilities or have a blend of types.

Another unique concept is that the cards will gain xp and level up, unlocking more powerful abilities. Also, they'll be able to be traded with other players and put into the nomad pool where players can use those cards to play without having to buy booster packs. Your unused cards will be leveled up by other players! Those features will come later. I'll revise this review when they are live.

There will be four different playable card types: hero, minion, structure, and rune. Currently you can only use hero cards, but the other three will give different abilities and effects. Minion cards will act as buffs, structures will be passive abilities, and rune cards will be stronger versions of heroes. Curiosity cards are another type and are collectible but aren't playable and come from curiosities, which you get in packs and will give you something random.

I mention all this before it's in the game because I want to point out how fun this game is, even without all those features implemented yet! If you are a fan of strategic TCGs at all, you should check it out.

Everything I have mentioned are pros for this game. Honestly the only con I can think of is that there aren't enough people playing yet to the point where I can jump into a game with someone any time I want. :)

Early Access Review
The Forest is a gorgeous survival horror game with serious potential. At this point it already feels pretty polished and it's only getting better. The devs update every two weeks according to a set schedule and they're always adding and fixing things. Multiplayer still needs some work but it's pretty good already and certainly playable.

The map is pretty large. I still haven't found all of the caves. I also proudly still haven't eaten any human flesh! One thing I hope they work on is the sanity level. Currently, when it hits 0, nothing really happens. I'd like to see him hallucinate or have other strange things happen. Actually, one time my sanity was low and I was in the mountains. At one point a bunch of rocks and other things on the ground kept popping in and out of existence. I thought he was going insane but alas, it was just a bug. I walked a bit and it all stopped.

This game gives me some genuine scares, especially in the caves. I don't think I've ever gasped aloud or made other startled sounds cuz of a game before. I have to admit that even a bat has startled the sh*t out of me down there. If one were to be watching me on Twitch they would've seen my camera twitch all over the place lol.

It's so satisfying to kill a cannibal and chop his body up so I can make my masterpiece effigies! I can't wait til they finish the sinkhole and the mountains. :) Awesome game!
