Fun to kill zombies but the moneygrind sucks and I uninstalled after this latest run because it ended exactly the same way all the other ones did: a glitched animation causing a 1-shot instant kill from full health.

I'm simply sick of games like this one wasting my time with such nonsense.

Can't refund because you can't run into such game breaking stupidity within 2 hours.

I wanted to like this but its very glitchy and features almost no sense of immersion whatsoever. Graphics are ok but there's never anything immersive happening when you just click to interact with every world item and practically nothing ever moves at all except enemies. The island is ugly, wildlife fights like bad counterstrike bots, the menus are clunky and irritating, and a scorpion literally warped onto my arm the first time I saw one.

Did I mention the game difficulty cannot be fine tuned? But who cares when the world is this static? I've no desire to play a pretty minecraft with annoying wildlife and insects.

A replacement for The Long Dark this is not. Unfortunately this isn't even a decent substitute. Compared to the immersion in TLD this feels like a Caribbean survival spreadsheet more annoying than doing your taxes. I refunded.

Bad system, bad approach, bad marketing, bad interface, bad design, and forces you to deal with people. I regret buying this garbage. Deleted.

I bought this because it was listed as a strategy roguelike but it is not. It's actually a puzzle game with roguelite elements. Very little strategy is involved anywhere except in the roguelite meta part, and you can't really call that strategy when you're guessing more than planning. Not a bad game, just not as described on the store page and not what I was looking for. Steam needs to extend refund window past 2 hours because this is getting ridiculous.

Fun for a few hours but rapidly becomes a tedious grindfest. I'll probably play a while to unlock more stuff but I cannot see this ever becoming fun again. It's too simple, the runs are too short and repetitive, the story goes nowhere, and the amount of grinding is just way too high. Would refund but it takes 3-4 hours to reach the ubergrind phase. Sigh.

Before I even got SpaceEngine properly setup to actually enjoy it they pushed an update that removed support for Windows 7. Poof! No more game and I can't return it. At least I get 55gb of hard drive space back? Slava Ukraini I guess.

Great game for the first 2 hours, then he's got your money and absolute window-licking regardery begins.

New paths spawn randomly and you rarely have any tools to deal with the situation.

Random events seem to always turn against you, no matter how well you are doing when they trigger. Hell, I've not had a single spin of the wheel go anywhere but X. NOT ONE SINGLE TIME.

One game I was on my way to winning easily and then on the 4th to last wave a path spawned far away and there was absolutely no possible way to deal with it. Poof, game over, and because each game is long this is infuriating. After 3 straight times I said enough of this and uninstalled.

Dev is a single French Canadian and apparently has abandoned the game so I guess I should have known better? I'm sure he'll post a dev response at some point to tell me how wrong I am on every point I've made here, but hopefully by that time I'll be in cryo-stasis on my way to another solar system, far away from this lunatic and his frustratingly bad roguelite TD.

More money wasted.

Simply not fun to play and extremely unbalanced. Far too minimalist and lacks all kinds of QOL stuff regular strategy gamers take for granted, and it is really just "minimalist for the sake of minimalist". The hero requires ridiculous micromanagement and is by far the most important part to winning the "hard" challenges in the game. The dev is condescending, elitist, and snobby, and I actually bought their last game and kinda liked it a little bit, so if -I'm- saying that...

You can solo most waves after unlocking the very last medallion (again, the kind of stupid crap I came to expect while playing this game) but seriously WHO ****ING CARES? It's the kind of game that likes to make you lose quickly, usually for no reason other than you didn't stay ahead of whatever dmg curve you needed to stay ahead of for THAT SECTION of the map during THAT SECTION of the wave. Did I mention micromanaging your troops is a slow, utterly dreadful nightmare?

I wish I knew this game sucked before the 2 hour refund window closed. I regret playing 9 further hours to finish all the medallions. There's no way in the world I'm finishing the challenges. That much micro would probably snuff the very life from my body.

More wasted money...

I really loved this game but the last patch destroyed the combat completely. Now weapons and limbs flail about unrealistically and the combat is utterly stiff and fake, like a rough mod for an old FPS played against really bad bots. I mastered the combat completely before the latest patch and now it doesn't even feel like the same game at all. Very disappointed to see this game get ruined like this. Devastating, really.

It's just a bland brownpunk soviet quake level with paranormal weirdness and ultra violence. Yeah, that's a great combo, we're never going to get bored of that.

There's no way this is worth more than 5 dollars.
