Beat Hazard is one of my favorite music games. Basically Asteroids with music, the tempo and intensity influence the enemy frequency and movement speed, but it also increases your ship's lasers! Now, there are more powerup weapons than the first game, as well as unique ships to unlock for every song you play through. The game has an ingenious open-mic mode, which allows you to use music from any source, including youtube. I say give it a shot, support small game developers!
